As KRAFTON India reveals BGMI Esports Roadmap, fans can expect four key tournaments — BGIS, BMPS, BMSD, and BMIC — to dominate the esports calendar in 2026. The Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) will kick off the year between January and March, providing an open platform for aspiring players nationwide. It will be followed by the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) from May to June, where India’s top professional teams will battle for supremacy.
Continuing the momentum, the Battlegrounds Mobile India Showdown (BMSD) will take place between August and October, featuring top-tier LAN competition. Finally, the year will conclude with the Battlegrounds Mobile India International Cup (BMIC) in October, bringing together elite teams from India, Korea, and Japan. Alongside the tournament calendar, KRAFTON India reveals BGMI Esports Roadmap with the addition of the KRAFTON India Awards. This new initiative will recognize India’s finest esports players, creators, and teams, with the first ceremony scheduled for January 9, 2026, in Mumbai. According to CEO Sean Hyunil Sohn, the roadmap represents “a pathway for Indian gamers to rise from grassroots to global platforms.”
