India clinch U19 Cricket World Cup title for a record sixth time after producing a commanding all-round performance to defeat England by 100 runs in the final of the Under-19 World Cup 2026 in Harare, Zimbabwe. The victory further cements India’s reputation as the most successful team in the tournament’s history, and once again India clinch U19 Cricket World Cup title while remaining unbeaten throughout the competition.

After winning the toss, India opted to bat first and delivered a breathtaking batting exhibition. Young sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi stole the spotlight with a stunning 175 off just 80 balls, registering one of the finest knocks ever seen in U19 World Cup finals. His innings powered India to a massive total of 411 for nine in 50 overs. Captain Ayush Mhatre played a steady supporting role with a crucial 53, while Abhigyan Kundu added a valuable 40. As a result, India clinch U19 Cricket World Cup title by setting England a near-impossible target of 412 runs.

For England, James Minto led the bowling attack with three wickets, while Sebastian Morgan and Alex Green picked up two each. Manny Lumsden also chipped in with a wicket, but the Indian batting proved too strong overall.

Chasing the daunting target, England showed resistance but were eventually bowled out for 311 in 40.2 overs. Caleb Falconer top-scored with an impressive 115, supported by Ben Dawkins’ 66. RS Ambrish claimed three wickets, while Deepesh Devendran and Kanishk Chouhan took two each.
