5. Suryakumar Yadav – 136 sixes

Indian cricketer Suryakumar Yadav made his debut in T20 Internationals in March 2021 with a game against England. A few years later, he hit his 100th six in only his 49th innings, making him the second-fastest player in T20I history to reach this milestone.
At 34 years old, Yadav has one of the best ratios of sixes per match in world cricket. He has hit 136 sixes in just 68 innings. His T20I strike rate of nearly 170 highlights his ability to hit big shots consistently.

4. Jos Buttler – 137 sixes

Experienced English wicketkeeper-batter Jos Buttler has hit 137 sixes in just 124 T20I matches. As an opener for England, Buttler played a key role in their historic win at the 2022 T20 World Cup in Australia. Out of his 137 sixes, 43 have been hit during T20 World Cup matches over six different tournaments.
Buttler’s ability to hit sixes has given him an impressive strike rate of almost 150 in T20Is and a remarkable batting average of nearly 36.
3. Nicholas Pooran – 140 sixes

Nicholas Pooran, known for his powerful hitting, has smashed 140 sixes in his 97-match T20I career so far. Along with these sixes, he has also hit 144 boundaries. This impressive record makes him one of the top six-hitters in the game.
Pooran comes from a team with a history of strong T20 players like Chris Gayle and Kieron Pollard. Among these great players, Pooran stands out as the best in the T20 format.
At just 28 years old, Pooran holds the third-highest number of sixes in T20I cricket and is currently the leading six-hitter in the world. Given his age and skill, he might double his sixes before he retires.
2. Martin Guptill – 173 sixes

For a long time, New Zealand opener Martin Guptill held the record for hitting the most sixes in T20I cricket. He was overtaken by an Indian player in September 2022. Over his 13-year career with New Zealand, during which he played 122 T20I matches, Guptill hit 173 sixes and more than 300 other boundaries. He especially enjoyed playing in New Zealand, where he hit 112 of his 173 sixes in just 56 innings.

Indian opener Rohit Sharma is the only player in T20I history to hit over 200 sixes. He reached this milestone during the 2024 T20 World Cup. Shortly after the tournament ended, Rohit announced his retirement, wrapping up his T20I career with 205 sixes in just 159 matches.
Rohit Sharma not only leads the T20I six-hitting list but is also the second-highest six-hitter in T20 World Cup matches. Overall, he holds the record for the most sixes in all international formats, with a total of 620 sixes.
