One of the greatest super overs in IPL history occurred during the 2013 season. SRH was restricted to a relatively low total of 130/8 after batting first. In the 18th over, RCB was 14 runs behind in their chase of this run. However, the match ended in a tie due to the brilliant bowling spells of Vinay Kumar and Murali Karthik in the final two overs. SRH scored a respectable 20 runs in one over in the subsequent super over. Chris Gayle’s powerful smashes helped RCB chase this total, but they didn’t reach the mark by seven runs.
